If you’ve completed your academic and pool training at your local PADI shop and want to do your four open water training dives in Puerto Vallarta, this two day program is for you. All referral training documentation must be presented to participate.

*After your initial training at home you have one year to complete your Open Water certification.

It has never been easier to become a certified diver. With PADI online training you can learn the academic portion at your own pace and not use a lot of your vacation time. With Silent World Divers you will gain access to your academic material before arriving in Puerto Vallarta. With us you will complete the pool training and four open water dives.


PREREQUISITES: Minimum age is 10 years old.  You need to have  adequate swimming skills and be in good physical health.  No prior experience in scuba diving is required

In only  four days you can get the world’s most widely recognized diving certification with our highly qualified Scuba Instructors. Silent World Diver’s intensive certification program strictly adheres to PADI’s high standards regarding safety and instruction. The course  includes the theory, pool sessions and four Open Water dives. The price of the course also covers the PADI certification fee, the diving manual, RDP (Recreacional Dive Planner), logbook and the use of all  diving equipment.

Take your diving to a new level by upgrading your PADI Open Water  or Adventure Diver certifications to become an Advanced Diver. The course includes five academic subjects with their respective training dives. Three elective dives may be chosen from a selection of  dive specialties besides  the mandatory Navigation and Deep Dive trainings. With this certification you will be qualified to dive to a depth of 100 feet and  have the opportunity to experience a whole new underwater world.

COURSE DURATION: Mínimum of  2 days

PREREQUISITES: PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives – check with your PADI Instructor.
If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Advanced Open Water


The EFR program teaches you how to manage potential “life-threatening” emergencies and situations in which emergency services might be delayed. Skills include CPR, rescue breathing, first aid, and AED. This course is open to divers and non-divers alike. This course is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver  and Divemaster courses.

Divers in this course learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and wellbeing of others. Skills include preventing and managing specific dive related problems including panicked diver, tired diver, unconscious diver, missing diver, etc. You will also become a more confident diver and a better dive buddy. The course includes both academic and in-water training divided between beach and Open Water sessions.

COURSE DURATION: 2 to 3 days

PREREQUISITES: PADI Adventure Divers, Junior Divers of 12 years who have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and/or Advanced Divers. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course.

Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.

The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. Whether you want to work at a faraway dive destination or close to home at a local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you. PADI Divemasters are respected dive professionals who are aligned with the largest and most respected dive organization in the world – PADI.

PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster course. You also need to have:

Haven’t been scuba diving lately? Feeling a bit rusty? The Scuba Review program is just the refresher you need to brush up on your knowledge and skills. A PADI Professional will get you in the water having fun and feeling comfortable again. It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for adventure on a diving vacation.

Any certified diver who needs a refresher, pre-travel update, pre-assessment for a continuing education course or an upgrade from Junior diver can complete a Scuba Review.

Scuba Review is also great for non-certified divers who are referred to complete training or PADI Scuba Divers who are going on to Open Water Diver certification.

You’ll go over important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Your PADI Professional will have you practice putting your gear together and doing a predive safety check with your buddy. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills with a focus on good buoyancy control  to ensure that you get the very most out of your diving experience in Puerto Vallarta.

You’ll use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, BCD, dive computer and a scuba tank. The exposure protection you need will depend on the pool or confined water dive site you’ll visit.

YADIRA has been a PADI Diving Instructor for more than 19 Years. She is an Oceanologist and loves her career and diving as well as taking care of either novice or experienced divers. She speaks English, Spanish and French. She is a Nitrox and Underwater Digital Photographer Instructor.
RODOLFO is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and SSI Instructor with more than 14 Years of experience working as Dive Instructor He really loves to teach and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
LORENZO “MI NIÑO” is one of the pioneers of Scuba Diving in Puerto Vallarta. He is the former owner of Silent World Divers and has been a PADI Dive Master since 1970. During his career He has logged over 20,000 dives.
His guidance is enriched with interesting dive stories that will add to your fun on any dive trip. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.
